Our Product Development Department is currently seeking a results-driven professional to enhance and maintain a web-based ASP.NET application using VB.NET and SQL Server The candidate will be responsible for the modification of the user interface using HTML, JavaScript, XML, XSLT, ASP.NET and VB.NET, as well as fully document the design and the implementation approach prior to and during the development process.
Required Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Min 3 years of complex Web Application development experience
- Strong Knowledge of XML, XML Schema Validation, and XSLT – W3C standards preferred
- Microsoft SQL Server 2000 or 2005 / SQL queries and stored procedures – Proficient use of transactions and error handling
- Strong Knowledge of Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 (Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 a plus)
- Strong Knowledge of ASP.Net and VB.Net
- Strong application knowledge of the .Net Class Libraries
